Restricted regions
Firezone is a globally-available service, but we restrict access in some regions under our sanctions compliance policies. The table below distinguishes regions we block from countries where access is subject to increased review and potential blocking.
| Country or region | Access status |
|---|---|
| Russia | Blocked |
| Belarus | Not blocked by country; subject to increased review and potential blocking |
| The Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine | Blocked |
| Iran | Blocked |
| North Korea | Blocked |
| Cuba | Blocked |
| Venezuela | Not blocked by country; subject to increased review and potential blocking |
| Sudan | Not blocked by country; subject to increased review and potential blocking |
| Burma (Myanmar) | Not blocked by country; subject to increased review and potential blocking |
Connections to the Firezone service from IP addresses in regions marked Blocked will be
blocked by our network infrastructure with a 403 Forbidden response. This
happens on a per-connection basis; access to the Firezone service will resume
when you connect from a region that is not blocked.
Accounts associated with countries subject to increased review may be reviewed and blocked. Your Firezone account will not otherwise be blocked on a regional basis as long as your billing information has never been associated with a blocked region. If it has and you need to update your billing information, please contact support.
For more information on these restrictions, please see the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) website.
